The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) is advising all its valued clients that it is carrying out an exercise to upgrade the system used for Tax and Revenue Management – the Systems Application Product (SAP).

The objective of this project is to improve the efficiency of tax administration and taxpayer services while the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) will bring about the following advantages to you our valued clients:

  • Replace the existing information system with expandable, integrated and flexible solutions, which allow ZIMRA to change and evolve processes and structures without technical constraints.
  • Enable a shared services business model through effective and efficient data processing and consolidated reporting
  • Effective tax computation and analysis without any external systems support by using  a built-in online, real time and integrated SAP processes
  • Availability of reliable and timely information for effective decision- making
  • Provision of an effective, efficient and adaptable infrastructure for enabling ZIMRA’s core and support business processes.

 

In view of the above all clients are being kindly requested to update their registration details by completing the new REV 1 Form obtainable at the nearest ZIMRA office or from the ZIMRA website. This will enhance the processing of payments or any transactions you may want to make with the Authority.

 

All clients are given until 30 January 2013 to update their records.

 

Our valued clients are urged to bear with us during this upgrade period as it may   disrupt normal activities at our workstations throughout the country.
