ZIMRA receives torch to host Inter-Revenue Games

Zimra has been handed over the torch to host the prestigious Inter-Revenue games in 2015. This display of confidence and the presentation of this responsibility was made during the Inter-Revenue games held in Lesotho on 19 April 2014.

ZIMRA donates to Murongwe Primary School

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority Commissioner General Mr Gershem Pasi’s acts of compassion took him to the Air Force of Zimbabwe headquarters where he donated 10 state-of-the-art computers to Murongwe Primary School – a school which was adopted by the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ).

ZIMRA Surpasses Revenue Target

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority has surpassed the revenue target for first quarter of 2014. Net revenue collections for the first quarter amounted to US$834.6 million against a target of US$817.9 million, resulting in a positive variance of 2%.  Most of the revenue was realised from Value Added Tax (VAT), Individual Tax and Excise Duty. click here for the full report

ZIMRA donates to Just Children Foundation

In a classic case of philanthropic excellence, the Loss Control and Internal Audit division combined their financial resources and donated goodies worth US$300 to Just Children Foundation – an orphanage nestled in the sleepy town of Karoi, some 300km from Harare along the north west corridor.
