Diplomat means any person representing a foreign mission and accredited to Zimbabwe.

What kind of goods qualify for importation under diplomatic rebate?

A) Diplomat entitled to full diplomatic privileges:

• Any goods imported by him/her or taken out of bond and supplied directly to him/her.
• Excisable goods excluding motor fuel and new motor vehicles purchased from open stocks.
• Refund on motor fuel and new motor vehicles purchased from open stocks

B) Diplomat entitled to first arrival privileges:

• any goods owned and imported by him at the time of his arrival or within a period of 6 months after time of his arrival.
• any goods imported at such other time at the Commissioner's discretion.
