The Governance and Organisational Development Committee of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) held a meeting on 8th June 2012 in Harareto discuss human resources-related issues.

The delegation comprised Commissioners General Mr Robert -Morris of Botswana Unified Revenue Services; Mr Gershem Pasi of ZIMRA and Mr Oupa Magashula of South African Revenue Service (SARS). Also in attendance were Ms Simone Le Hane and Mr Lincoln Andre Marais from ATAF, Ms Christine Msemburi, ZIMRA Director for Human Resources and Administration as well as Ms Tanya Rothman and Ms Sandra Burmeister from Landelahni Business Leaders.

ATAF has 34 member countries and aims to become a platform to allow African administrators to articulate African tax priorities, anchor good practices, and build capacity in African tax policy and administration through peer learning and knowledge development.
