ZIMRA partners with AusAID to build sustainable capacity

The Australian Government, through its development agency, AusAID, has partnered with ZIMRA to fund a capacity building programme called the ZIMRA Assistance Programme (ZIMRAP).

 
ZIMRA embraces ASYCUDA World for Customs clearance
With effect from 31st March 2011, no manual entries of Bills of Entry will be accepted at border posts and inland stations where Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) World has been rolled out.

Motor vehicle imports improve

The reduction of duty on motor vehicle importations, as brought about by the November 2010 Budget, has seen a drastic increase in the number of vehicles being imported through the country’s border posts.
