Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Honourable Patrick Chinamasa, presented the Mid-Term Fiscal Policy Review on 8 September 2016 under the theme, “Improving investor confidence to enhance productivity”. ZIMRA Charity Trust donates to Mother of Peace

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority Charity Trust donated 500 day-old layer chicks and feeds, enough to feed the chicks up to the point of lay, to Mother of Peace Children’s Home in Mutoko. Accompanying the donation were groceries which include four boxes of cooking oil, 200 kilogrammes of rice, 100 kilogrammes of sugar, 30 cartons of soya mince, tea leaves, petroleum jelly and tissue paper, among an assortment of other items.

ARM a crowd-puller at Midlands Show

arm.jpg - 73.75 KbThis year's edition of the Midlands Agricultural Show - which ran from 28 to 31 July in Gweru under the theme, Enhancing Economic Growth in A Dynamic Environment - was a hive of activity as the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) adhered to its own theme: Promoting Economic Growth through Revenue Generation in A Dynamic Environment by Embracing Technology.

ZIMRA Board Chair denounces corruption

This was said by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) Board Chairman, Mrs Willia Bonyongwe in her report on the Authority’s first half 2016 revenue performance.

WCO workshop on goods classification, valuation held

ZIMRA hosted the World Customs Organisation (WCO) workshop on the Customs Harmonised System (HS) from 25 to 28 July 2016 in Harare. The workshop was attended by representatives from 19 African countries from WCO’s two regions namely East and Southern Africa (ESA) and West and Central Africa (WCA).
